Woman attempts suicide after throwing 3 children into well; bodies of 2 kids recovered

In a shocking incident, a woman attempted to end her life after throwing her three children including two daughters and a son into a well in Odisha. The incident was reported from Lauguada village in Aska of Ganjam district late on Sunday night.

As per reports, the woman and her elder daughter were rescued by the locals. However, two other children including the minor son could not be saved and their bodies were subsequently recovered by the Odisha Fire Services Personnel.

Though the exact reason behind the woman resorting to such extreme step is not clear, it is suspected that the incident is a fallout of family feud. The incident has sent shockwaves in the area.
