Sushrita Mishra, who topped the OPSC Odisha Judicial Services-2022 examination, believes that she could play a role in maintaining the faith that people have in the judiciary. Sharing her views about her spectacular performance with OTV,

Sushrita said, “I had worked hard. Besides, all my family members are behind this success. Even some of my friends were with me during my preparations for the OJS. It is because of everybody’s blessings, I got this success.”

Replying to a question as to why she chose the judicial field, she said, “When I was in standard seven, we were being taught about the executive, legislature, and the judiciary.  Since then, I was keen toward judiciary and had a desire to serve people in this field.”

She added that it is often seen that people after getting failure everywhere, turn to the courts with hope that they would get justice.

“People have faith in the judiciary. I thought I could play a small role to maintain that faith by delivering justice to the people,” she observed, adding that as her career progresses, she would evolve herself.
She also said that there is not a big difference between the topper and those who secured lower ranks as everyone is equally talented at this level.  

“Most importantly, my family and relatives are happy with my success,” she added.
