Dahibara Aloo dum, one of the popular street foods of Odisha, has recently found a new fan in Michelin star chef Vikas Khanna.

Khanna savoured this lip-smacking street food during his recent visit to Odisha. He was quite stunned by the dish’s taste, textures, temperatures, colours and cooking technique. He self-confessed his love for the unique dishes declaring him as its fan forever till eternity.

In the video shared on his social media platform, Khanna can be seen trying the beloved Odia dish and completely blown away by it with the very fast bite. In the video, Khanna could also be seen asking about all the components of the dish and knowing about all the ingredients of the dish.

However, it seems Khanna is hooked on this Odia dish as he was seen re-creating this Odia delicacy in Mumbai after his return from Odisha.

Sharing the making of Dahibara Aloo dum, Khanna captioned the post, “Recreational of one of my favorite foods from Odisha.”

In the video, Vikas can be seen making the Dahibara (Lentil balls) from scratch. He then went on to make Aloo dum and also the green chilli curd to add the extra zing to the Dahibara Aloo dum just like the street food vendor.

Towards the end, he can be seen plating the dish and devouring it with another chef who was helping him to cook it.
Since being shared a day ago on Instagram, Khanna’s post accumulated over 360K views and more than 27,000 likes.
