Usha Padhee becomes skill development and technical education dept secretary

Odisha government on Friday appointed Usha Padhee as principal secretary to Government, Skill Development and Technical Education Department.

Padhee, who has returned from Central Deputation, has been allowed to remain in additional charge as principal secretary of Commerce and Transport Department.

As per the notification issued by the General Administration & Public Grievance Department, Hemant Sharma has also been appointed as principal secretary to government, Industries Department. Sharma has also been allowed to remain in additional charge as Chairman IPICOL and chairman IDCO.

IAS officer Bishnupada Sethi, currently posted as Higher Education Department Secretary with additional charge of Commerce and Transport Department, has been appointed as principal secretary, Higher Education.

“The additional appointment of IAS Hemant Sharma as principal secretary to government Skill Development and Technical Education Department and Bishupada Sethi, IAS as principal secretary to government, Commerce and Transport department shall stand terminated from the date Usha Padhee, IAS takes over,” the official notification read.
