UPSC Civil Services 2023 Results: From AIR 231 to AIR 36, Odisha’s Ayushi Pradhan comes out with flying colours

Pradhan was ranked 231 in the 2022 UPSC exams. The 2023 exam was her third attempt which catapulted her to 36th rank. As per preliminary reports, as many as 26 candidates from Odisha have cracked the Civil Services Examinations this time.

Ayushi Pradhan of Odisha expressed her happiness for being able to significantly improve her All India Rank (AIR) in the 2023 Civil Services Examinations, the results of which were announced by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on Tuesday.
 

Pradhan was ranked 231 in the 2022 UPSC exams. The 2023 exam was her third attempt which catapulted her to 36th rank. As per preliminary reports, as many as 26 candidates from Odisha have cracked the Civil Services Examinations this time.
 
Pradhan is among the 1,015 candidates in the country who have cracked the most aspired and tough exams. This was her third attempt at the exam.

Speaking to OTV, Ayushi said, "I am happy that I cracked the civil services exams on my third attempt. I thank God and my parents for my success and the ranks in the civil services exam.”

As for her preparation, Ayushi said, “I started my preparations for the civil services examinations in 2021.  After choosing my subjects, I took online coaching while staying at home. I am already in a job. In 2022, my rank was 231.”
