With the BJP central leadership shifting its focus on Odisha ahead of the 2024 general elections, Union Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to visit the State on March 26.

The Home Minister is expected to visit Bhadrak as part of the ongoing Lok Sabha Pravas, informed BJP's state general secretary Prithviraj Harichandan.

Apart from public rallies during his visit, the HM is expected to address a meeting in the Bhadrak Lok Sabha constituency and hold discussions with state leaders and grassroots-level workers.

He is also expected to review all the preparatory works and finetune strategies for the election ahead. The Home Minister’s visit to the Bhadrak Lok Sabha constituency is considered to be politically significant as the saffron party hopes to put up a great show in the state in the 2024 Assembly Elections.

Earlier, during his visit to Odisha, Shah had announced that Odisha was on the focus list of the BJP and that the saffron party will surely come to power in the State in 2024.
