Four dead in separate road accidents in Odisha

Two people died after the scooter they were riding on hit a stationary truck in Jajpur district on Monday night while two others died in a bus-car collision in Kalahandi district.

Two dead, one critical after scooter hits stationary truck in Jajpur

Two people lost their lives while another was critically injured after the scooter they were riding on hit a stationary truck in Jajpur district on Monday night.

The mishap occurred at Phuljhar Chhak under Tamaka police limits at around 10 pm. While two people died on the spot after the collision, another person sustained critical injuries.

The deceased have been identified as Mahendra Tudu and Man Murmu. Both hailed from Kiajhar area.

The injured was first shifted to Danagadi community health centre and later referred to SCB Medical College and Hospital. 

In another mishap, two people died after a bus collided head-on with a car near Chamcher under Kesinga police limits. The deceased were the occupants of the car. Three persons who sustained critical injuries were shifted to Bhawanipatna hospital.
