Two charred to death as bike catches fire after mishap near Cuttack

In a tragic accident, two youths were charred to death after the motorcycle they were riding caught fire following a mishap on Cuttack-Paradip road late Monday night.

The mishap occurred near Kandarpur toll gate. The identities of the deceased have not been ascertained yet. 

As per reports, the duo hailing from Tirtol of Jagatsinghpur district was heading to Cuttack on a bike when the vehicle hit a concrete mixer along a road. 

The bike caught fire after the collision leaving them critically injured. 

Though Kandarpur police took the duo to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack, they were pronounced dead. 

The police seized the bike and concrete mixer and further investigation is underway.
