Traffic cop saves two lives by foiling suicide bid on flyover in Odisha

Thanks to a traffic police, a woman was prevented from committing suicide along with her girl child. This incident was reported from Cuttack on Tuesday.

According to sources, a woman who hails from Tigiria of Cuttack district tried to end her life by climbing over the Madhupatna flyover and attempting to jump. Distraught over family dispute, the woman had left her village along with her daughter and reached at Madhupatna flyover reportedly to commit suicide.

Though people present there tried to convince the woman to get off from the bridge, she did not step down. It was traffic police who managed sneak near the woman and dragged her down.
