Tele actress Pihu courts controversy after ‘misbehaving’ with elderly man during jatra show

Tele actress Pihu courted controversy by allegedly misbehaving with an elderly person during a dance show on a jatra stage in Patnamangala village under Tihidi block of Bhadrak district.

The elderly person has been identified as Pitabas Barik.

As per reports, Pihu was dancing to an album song on the stage. However, during the course of the show, she allegedly stroked the head of Pitabas who was in the audience. Following the incident, Pitabas lost his cool and tried to thrash the actress with his shoes.

However, Pihu quickly took the microphone and asked Pitabas to move to the backside of the venue if he doesn’t like the show. Subsequently, some youths forcefully took the elderly person outside the jatra venue.

The unfortunate incident triggered resentment among the people of the area. Many criticized the misbehavior of the actress.

“When the show was on, the dancer sat in front of me and shoved my head. The incident irked me and I picked up my shoes to thrash her. However, she told me to move to the back if I don’t like the show. Following the incident, some youths forcefully took me away,” said Pitabas.

However, no comments from the actress and Jatra committee members have been received.
