Tarang Cine Productions’ ‘Pushkara’ released outside Odisha

After rocking the box office in Odisha for many days, Tarang Cine Productions’ ‘Pushkara’ is all set to captivate cinema lovers across the country.

The movie, which is based on the waning traditional rituals and culture of Odisha, was released outside the State on Friday. 

In the first phase, the movie was released in Chennai, Bengaluru and Thane.

The film was released in Odisha on the auspicious day of Ganesh Chaturthi on September 19. It is now being screened houseful in several theatres across the State.

After repeated requests from several Odia people living across the country, the movie has now been released outside the State.

Since the opening day, the film, based on noted writer Sankar Tripathy’s Odia novel ‘Nadabindu,’ has been receiving rave reviews from critics as well as cine-goers.

“Pushkara has been released in Bengaluru and Chennai on October 6. Now everyone can book their shows in these cities. The movie will be released in New Delhi, Mumbai, Coimbatore, and many other cities across the country soon. We have even got many requests from Kolkata. All the Odia movie lovers across the country can see Pushkara near their homes soon,” said Sabyasachi Mishra, the protagonist of the movie.

“We are trying to release the movie successfully in all the major cities across the country,” said Devidutta Mohanty, Executive Producer of Tarang Cine Productions.
