Tarang Cine Productions’ movie ‘Pushkara’ completed 50 days of its release on Thursday and has been winning the hearts of the audience across Odisha. The film was released on the auspicious day of Ganesh Chaturthi on September 19.
The movie, which has been running successfully in various cinema halls in Bhubaneswar and other cities of Odisha and even outside, is receiving accolades from audiences because of its strong storyline, direction, acting, screenplay, and songs.
Protagonist Sabyasachi Mishra along with many cine personalities celebrated its historic success on Thursday.

Speaking to the media about the success of the movie, lead actor, Sabyasachi Mishra said, "The success of Puskara is not only the credit of a production house, an actor, and a team, but it is a success of the entire Odia film industry. The movie has given birth to a lot of possibilities and inspired many others to make such films."
Mishra said that most significantly, in the last 50 days, new audiences, and many cine audiences, who had stopped watching Odia movies long ago, were spotted watching the movie.
The film is based on noted writer Sankar Tripathy’s Odia novel ‘Nadabindu’. The movie has been receiving rave reviews from critics as well as cine-goers.
