Suspended Suniti Mund 'driven out' of Bhubaneswar BJP headquarters by party workers

Unprecedented scenes were witnessed at BJP headquarters in Bhubaneswar after some members of the Mahila morcha entered into a verbal duel with Suniti Mund, who was recently suspended from the party.

Suniti Mund was recently suspended from the BJP on charges of anti-party activities. The incident occurred when Suniti Mund turned up at the BJP headquarters today. She had come to meet the senior leaders and was waiting for them when she was driven out of the party headquarters by the Mahila morcha workers.

The workers claimed that as Sunita Mund had been suspended from the party, she did not have any right to come to the party office. As she was speaking to the media, she was opposed and asked to leave the party office.

Subhasini Prusty, BJP leader said, “Suniti Mund has been suspended. As per protocol, she should not have come to the office. We had allowed her to wait. But when she started speaking to the media, we opposed and asked her to leave.” Suniti Mund was suspended from the party a couple of days back on the allegations of anti-party activities.

“False allegations have been levelled against me and the truth will soon come out. I am part of the BJP family,” said Mund.

It is pertinent to mention here that Suniti Mund was BJP’s Bhubaneswar Mayor Candidate in the last Municipal Corporation elections.
