PUBLISHED: LAST UPDATE:

'Beneficiaries should ensure that all these issues are sorted so that they will get the fourth phase money of the first installment which will credited to their bank accounts on February 8'

Odisha Deputy CM Pravati Parida

Odisha Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida on Sunday announced that the release of the installment amount of Subhadra Yojana's fourth phase will be on February 8.

Parida urged the eligible beneficiaries under the Subhadra Yojana to get their issues including NPCI and eKYC checks by visiting their concerned bank branches by February 4, 2025.

According to Parida, the beneficiaries should ensure that all these issues are sorted so that they will get the fourth phase money of the first installment which will credited to their bank accounts on February 8.

The financial assistance would be disbursed at a special function to be held at Jajpur.

“We have given two dates and asked the beneficiaries to visit their concerned banks on February 3 and February 4 for NPCI checks ahead of the release of the fourth phase money in February. Apart from this, the beneficiaries have also been asked to complete their eKYC formalities so that they also receive the financial assistance on February 8,” said Parida.

It is pertinent to mention here that several beneficiaries are facing issues in receiving financial assistance under the Subhadra Yojana due to NPCI issues.

Earlier, the Odisha government had requested the eligible beneficiaries, who are yet to receive their 1st instalment amount, to visit their bank branches on January 29 and 30 to activate the NPCI failure.

Due to National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) failed cases, there were issues in sending the Subhadra Yojana money to the beneficiaries.

Sources said that NPCI failure is a matter between the banks and the customers. Apart from this, several beneficiaries are yet to complete their e-KYC and their accounts need to be linked with Aadhaar card and biometrics.
