Deputy CM Pravati Parida advises Subhadra Yojana beneficiaries facing instalment issues to visit bank branches on January 29th and 30th for resolution.

Subhadra Yojana beneficiaries, who are facing issues in receiving their instalment under the scheme, are required to visit their bank branches across Odisha on January 29th and January 30th.

This was advised by Deputy CM, Pravati Parida on Tuesday afternoon during a press meet on the implementation of the scheme.

Deputy CM Parida requested the eligible beneficiaries, who are yet to receive their 1st instalment amount, to visit their bank branches on January 29 and 30 to activate the NPCI failure.

“Banks across Odisha have made special arrangements for it and they will pay special attention in this regard. The Odisha government’s aim to reach the last beneficiary of the Subhadra Yojana will be successful only by activating the NPCI. Those who have received calls and messages, that they must visit their bank branches and activate the NPCI failure. As many as 3,31,000 beneficiaries have some issues and they should not be deprived of getting the amount under Subhadra Yojana,” said Parida.

“As many as 1,55, 158 persons are yet to update e-KYC. Beneficiaries need to update e-KYC, complete biometric process and link accounts to Aadhar. The beneficiaries could activate their NPCI failures only by visiting the bank. All the bank branches have agreed to activate the NPCI failure of the beneficiaries on January 29 and 30. I request the beneficiaries, who are yet to get the amount, they must clear the NPCI issue to avail the first instalment of Subhadra Yojana,” she added.

Deputy CM Parida informed that a total of 1, 07,23, 294 women have been registered. A total of 3, 31, 188 NPCI failed cases have been reported and as many as 1,55,158 e-KYC and 1,75, 119 field verifications have been pending, the Deputy CM added.

“The government is trying to go door-to-door to provide financial assistance under the Subhadra Yojana. However, NPCI failure is a matter between the banks and the customers. Hence we have requested the banks to give two days on January 29 and 30 to reactivate NPCI failures. Hence customers need to visit the bank branches for this purpose. Those beneficiaries who will get calls and messages need to visit the banks,” said Deputy CM Parida.
