SUBHADRA Yojana: Applicants applying before September 15 will get first installment on Sept 17, says Dy CM

Amidst the chaos and long queues, Odisha Deputy CM Pravati Parida on Saturday clarified that women applicants who have applied for the Subhadra Yojana on or before September 15 will get their first installment after the launch of the ambitious scheme by PM Narendra Modi on September 17.

Over 50L women have already applied for the scheme till now, the Deputy CM stated. All these women will get their first installment of Rs 5,000 on September 17, the birthday of PM Narendra Modi. It will be a birthday gift of PM Modi for the women in the state.

“Over 50L women have already registered and submitted their applications till now. Those who will apply on or before September 15 will get their first installment on September 17 after the launch of the scheme by PM Narendra Modi,” the Deputy CM said.

“The money will be directly credited to the account of the applicants,” she added.

This apart, the Prime Minister during his visit to Odisha is also scheduled to lay the foundation for several projects worth Rs 3800cr.
