Students lock school gate, take classes on road in Puri

A dramatic scene unfolded in Sukal, under Satyabadi Panchayat of Puri district as school students of Trutiya Dev Bidya Niketan were seen attending classes on the road. Alleging irregularities in the conduct of classes, the students along with their parents blocked the school's main entrance. 

The students alleged that such mismanagement has been prevailing at the school for the last six months.

Moreover, the pupils also highlighted that no action was taken to address the issue despite repeated complaints. Irked by this, the guardians and students locked the school three days back and staged the demonstration.

On getting information, Satyabadi police and the Pipili SDPO reached the spot and held a discussion with the students and their families. Finally, following several rounds of discussions and assurances, the school gates were opened and normalcy returned at the school.
