The Bhubaneswar-Cuttack Commissionerate Police invites student volunteers to improve road safety in the twin cities. Applications are open until April 18, 2025. Interested candidates are encouraged to apply in specific application forms for these roles.

The Bhubaneswar-Cuttack Commissionerate Police sought student volunteers to fill vacant positions as part of its traffic management initiatives in the twin cities, on Thursday.

This opportunity enables students to make a significant contribution towards improving road safety and public order in two of Odisha's historic cities.

Important information to note:

“Interested candidates are required to submit their applications at the office of the ACP (Traffic)-Bhubaneswar at AG Chhak for Bhubaneswar Urban Police District (UPD) and at the office of the ACP (Traffic)-Cuttack at Madhupatana Chhak for Cuttack UPD. The applications must be submitted by 5.00 PM of April 18, 2025,” the Commissionerate Police stated.

The application forms and guidelines are available free of cost at the respective traffic police offices. Requisite application forms and guidelines can also be downloaded from the Commissionerate Police website: www.bhubaneswarcuttackpolice.gov.in .

However, the late-submitted and incomplete applications will not be considered.

Interested candidates are encouraged to apply in specific application forms for these roles, which entail collaborating with the local traffic police to manage the traffic flow, enforce compliance with road regulations, and raise awareness of driving safety.

The experience gained here will be invaluable for those looking to pursue careers in public administration or community services.

These vacancies are available in different places under the Bhubaneswar-Cuttack urban police districts. Participants will be working under the mentorship of seasoned officers and will be equipped with the necessary training to effectively fulfill their responsibilities.
