Student harassment slur on private college principal, police complaint filed

The students of a private Plus 2 Science college in Koraput’s Jeypore have brought serious allegations of harassment against the principal.

As per the police complaint, the principal of the college molested a girl student of the institution.

The matter came to the fore after the parents of the student lodged a complaint at Jeypore Town Police Station against the principal.

Following the complaint, the police went to the college for investigation but returned empty-handed after finding the college locked.

Sources said the students here were subjected to mental and physical harassment since long. The students started to complain when it went beyond limit.

Neither the police nor the college authorities were available for comments on this matter.
