Skull, bones recovered from Ganjam forest; witchcraft suspected

A skull and bones, suspected to be that of a human, were recovered from a forest near Brundabanpur village under Padmapur panchayat in Ganjam district on Sunday morning.

According to sources, some villagers spotted the skull and bones in the forest and informed the matter to the police. A bicycle was also found some meters away from the spot. 

On getting information about the incident, police officials rushed to the spot and started an investigation into the matter. 

Though under what circumstances the skull and bones were found inside the forest is unknown, police will seek the help of the forensic team to unravel the mystery surrounding it, sources informed,

Meanwhile, police have launched an investigation taking all possible angles into consideration including murder, suicide and witchcraft.
