Six students injured as school van turns turtle in Odisha's Dhenkanal

As many as six schoolchildren were injured as the van they were travelling in overturned in the Kamakhyanagar area of Dhenkanal district on Thursday.

As per reports, the injured students were admitted to Parjang Community Health Centre. The van was carrying 12 students of Barihapur Model School when the accident took place. However, the reason behind the accident could not be ascertained immediately.

Police rushed to the hospital and started an investigation into the matter after seizing the van. 

Some political leaders also visited the CHC to know the condition of the injured children, along with local residents, who also thronged the hospital in large numbers.
