A die-hard fan of superstar Shah Rukh Khan from Odisha's Nabarangpur district has won the hearts of many with his artwork that has amazed the King Khan himself.

Interestingly, the fan's name is Rahul (Patra), a character played by the King Khan in many movies. Rahul. who hails from remote Pradhaniguda village in the district, is a software engineer by profession.

He works in a software farm in Bangalore, but his passion is art. Moreover, he is an ardent fan of Shah Rukh Khan.

After the release of Shah Rukh starrer Bollywood movie ‘Jawan’, Rahul drew a huge mural of his favourite star on the wall of a cashew nut mill in his village. He shot the video of his artwork and posted it on his Instagram and YouTube handles. 

The video went viral on various social media platforms within no time. Hundreds of Shah Rukh Khan’s fans appreciated the video and showered amazing comments.

Shah Rukh’s another fan named Aditya shared the video and wrote 'It is unbelievable how talented people are.' 

The King Khan himself liked the video and thanked Rahul.

"Thank you so much for this video Rahul...Naam to suna hi hai. You are very talented my man. Fantastic artwork. Love u," Shah Rukh wrote.

  

Rahul’s parents are both teachers. His passion is art. Whenever he gets time, he keeps himself busy in painting. However, he said that he had never thought even in his wildest of the dreams that his painting will be praised by no other than his favourite actor Shah Rukh himself.

“I am so happy that King Khan himself has praised me. My painting was based on his film ‘Jawan’ which has been released recently. I was really excited after the release of the movie. I am always a big fan of Shah Rukh since my childhood. I used to draw paintings of Shah Rukh. However, I decided to draw a huge painting of Shah Rukh again after the release of Jawan. When I shared the video of the painting on Shah Rukh on social media, King Khan himself saw the video and heaped massive praise. He has also retweeted the post,” said an elated Rahul.

“I didn’t believe it initially after listening from others. However, when I saw it, I was super excited. I am so happy that Shah Rukh himself saw my painting and praised it,” he added.
