Second jury meeting of OTV Business Odisha Awards-2024 held in Bhubaneswar

The second jury meeting of the prestigious annual Business Odisha Awards-2024, instituted by Odisha Television Network, was held at OTV corporate office in Bhubaneswar on Thursday.

The jury members checked the video profiles of the nominees in various categories of the prestigious award in this phase.

This award is meant to acknowledge and recognise the outstanding and tremendous works done by different organisations in fields like education, health, jewellery, business, manufacturing and real estate to take Odisha on the road to prosperity.

The idea behind the award is to create a single platform where OTV can not only acknowledge the great works but also celebrate and honour the brands across the business sectors.

The video profiles will be telecast on September 23, 24 and 25 and online voting will also be started.

Winners in different categories will be awarded in the main event of OTV Business Odisha Awards-2024 to be held in Bhubaneswar on September 28.

“It’s a great initiative. It will give a boost to business in Odisha. I would like to thank OTV again for starting the Business Odisha Award. We tried our level best to pick up the best people. We have also suggested giving away awards in both junior and senior categories from the next year to encourage young entrepreneurs,” said Dr Ashok Mohapatra, former Director of AIIMS, Bhubaneswar.

“After checking different criteria like the number of people they have employed and the turnover, we had to decide on who are coming in higher categories. We have given certain suggestions also,” said senior chartered accountant AK Sabat.
