Reopening old cases; Nobody will be spared, says Odisha Law Minister

According to the Law Minister, steps will be taken to ensure that all such cases are reinvestigated including some political murders that remained in the news for quite some time.

All the cases, including political murders and other sensitive crimes, which have not reached any logical conclusion yet will be probed. Such statements by Odisha Law Minister Prithviraj Harichandan have warmed up the political atmosphere in the state.

According to the Law Minister, steps will be taken to ensure that all such cases are reinvestigated including some political murders that remained in the news for quite some time.

“All the illegal activities and murders will be investigated and clarity will come soon. Steps will be taken so that such cases reach its logical conclusion,” said Harichandan.

Recently, the Law Minister while speaking to national media had indicated towards reopening the brutal assassination of former health minister Naba Das.

Apart from Naba Das, other cases including the murder of Swami Laxmanananda Saraswati and teacher Mamita Meher that occurred during the previous BJD government’s tenure will be reopened.
