Forest dept personnel dance in joy after rains
The thunderstorm and moderate rainfall activities in the past couple of days in several parts of Odisha have certainly brought big relief to the forest department personnel who were seen struggling to contain the wild forest fire. The rainfall activities triggered by the western disturbance have abated forest fires to a large extent in different parts of the state.
This has filled the hearts of the forest department personnel and other workers with joy. The forest department personnel thanked the rain God and could not control their emotions and started dancing. Such exuberant emotions were witnessed among the Rangamatia beat forest department staff under the Bangiriposhi range.

It is pertinent to mention here that forest fire had assumed serious proportions at Similipal National Park and the rain has certainly improved the overall scenario.
