Reel-life villain arrested for making nude video calls to actresses in Odisha

An actor who plays negative character in Ollywood has been arrested on Sunday for allegedly making obscene video calls to some Odia movie and TV actresses.

The accused has been identified as Mithun Bhoi who mostly plays the supporting villain role in the Ollywood industry.

As per reports, the accused opened a fake WhatsApp profile in the name of an Odia film producer and chatted with the actresses. He also made obscene video calls to the actress from the fake account.

As per sources, Mithun was indulged in these kinds of activities in a bid to defame the actress.

Cuttack Cyber Police arrested Mithun after a preliminary investigation into the incident. Two mobile phones and as many SIM cards were seized from his possession.

“Based on the complaint by Odia movie producer Sudhansu Mohan Sahu, we carried out an investigation into the incident. We came to know from our investigation that the accused has opened a fake account in Sahu’s name and he is making obscene video calls to some movie and TV serial actresses. We have arrested the accused and he will be forwarded to the court today,” said Anil Mishra, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Cuttack.
