A servitor of Puri Srimandir has reportedly received the invitation card for Mukesh Ambani’s son Anant Ambani’s wedding, which is set to be held on July 12.

The servitor Jagannath Kar got overwhelmed when he was invited to one of the most expensive weddings in the country. When he opened the invitation card, ‘Vishnu Sahasra Naam’ started playing.

According to Kar, Anant Ambani is an ardent devotee of Lord Jagannath. He had come to Puri twice to have Lord Jagannath's darshan and facilitated Anant’s smooth darshan of the deities.

Since then, Kar has been in contact with Anant who has also contributed to the development of Srimandir. He donated silver for the silver door of the temple.

Kar also informed that Anant and his wife would visit Puri after their marriage and seek Lord Jagannath’s blessings for their future.

“During his last visit to Srimandir, Anant had invited me verbally for his marriage ceremony. I had never thought he would formally invite me by sending an invitation card. Though he is such a big industrialist, he has shown respect towards me by sending the invitation card. I have also got a phone call from his side to join the marriage ceremony,” said Kar.

“We are now busy in the service of Lord Jagannath as it is the time of Rath Yatra. I pray Lord Jagannath so that he will allow me to be part of the marriage ceremony,” he added.
