Private college bus overturns in Bolangir, narrow escape for 40 students 

A private college bus carrying over 40 students overturned near Sindhekela village under Sindhekela police station limits in Bolangir district on Sunday. The incident occurred when the bus, which was en route from Khariar to Bhawanipatna for a seminar, lost balance and veered off the road.

Eyewitnesses reported that the driver seemingly lost control of the vehicle while navigating a turn, causing the bus to tip over onto its side. Panic ensued as students screamed for help, and locals rushed to the spot to assist in the rescue operations.

Emergency response teams arrived swiftly, and all students were immediately transported to Khariar Mission Hospital for medical attention. Fortunately, no fatalities were reported, and most students sustained minor injuries. However, the bus driver is said to be in critical condition and is undergoing intensive medical care.
