Odisha train tragedy: Teenage Nepali survivor reunites with parents after spotting them on OTV screen
Journalist Rajesh Mahapatra has reportedly resigned from the Press Trust of India (PTI). According to sources, Mahapatra resigned from the post of Editor at the news agency. Mahapatra had joined PTI in June 2022. The reason behind his resignation is not known yet and despite attempts by OTV, Mahapatra could not be reached for his comments on the development.
Prior to joining PTI, Mahapatra was with the Hindustan Times, where he spent 11 long years. During his tenure at the Hindustan Times, he spearheaded organisational change and digital innovation for the publication house.
Mahapatra boasts of over 25 years of experience in journalism and is a renowned commentator and public policy analyst.
Mahapatra was also associated with international publications like the Associated Press and Bridge News and provided coverage on India's economic development and progress.
He has also launched the Forum for Odisha Dialogues -- aka Odisha Alochana Chakra -- a non-partisan platform aiming to facilitate constructive discourse on the future of Odisha.
