President Droupadi Murmu to visit Odisha on July 14; AIIMS Bhubaneswar and Ravenshaw on itinerary

President Droupadi Murmu is likely to visit Odisha on a two-day tour starting July 14 to attend a slew of programmes scheduled in AIIMS Bhubaneswar and Ravenshaw University.

According to reports, President Murmu will arrive in Bhubaneswar on July 14. On the same day, she will attend the convocation ceremony of AIIMS Bhubaneswar as the chief guest.

This prestigious event will see the country’s top medical students receiving degrees in the presence of the highest constitutional authority.

The following day, on July 15, the President will travel to Cuttack to grace the convocation of Ravenshaw University, one of the oldest and most reputed educational institutions in the state.

In a strong show of commitment to women’s education, President Murmu will also lay the foundation stone for the new Ravenshaw Girls’ High School, a significant step toward strengthening educational infrastructure for girls in the region.
