President Droupadi Murmu to visit Odisha's Khiching on February 29

President Droupadi Murmu will visit Khiching in Mayurbhanj district on February 29. Elaborate security arrangements will be put in place for her two-day visit to the district. On Sunday, Indian Air Force officials came in a special aircraft and landed at the helipad at Pandurshil village. 

They took stock of the security arrangements at the place along with police officials. After discussing with the police officials about security arrangements, they returned to New Delhi. 

Police officials are routinely checking security arrangements at Khiching and Sukruli. The district administration is on its toes for the President's visit.

Doulat Chandra Kar, ADM Rairangpur, said, “President Droupadi Murmu will come to Mayurbhanj on a two-day visit- on February 28 and 29. The district administration is making preparations as per the protocols. We hope everything will be ready in time.”
