As the holy town of Puri decked up for the grand Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath and His siblings, President Droupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other prominent personalities conveyed their wishes to the people on the auspicious occasion.

Taking to Twitter, President Murmu extended her wishes and wrote, “I extend my heartiest congratulations and best wishes to all the countrymen, especially the devotees of Mahaprabhu Sri Jagannath, on the occasion of Mahaprabhu Sri Jagannath's Rath Yatra. Praying to Lord Shri Jagannath that this great festival of devotion brings happiness, peace and prosperity in everyone's life.”

 

 

The President also offered prayers at Lord Jagannath temple at Delhi Hauz Khas on the occasion.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi also wished all on the occasion. “Rath Yatra greetings to everyone. As we celebrate this sacred occasion, may the divine journey of Lord Jagannath fill our lives with health, happiness and spiritual enrichment," the PM tweeted.

 

 

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan conveyed his wishes through Twitter and wrote, “Warm greetings to everyone on the sacred occasion of Rath Yatra. We bow to Mahaprabhu Jagannath and seek his blessings and benevolence. Jai Jagannath."

Union Home Minister Amit Shah too conveyed his wishes. His tweet in Odia read, “Shri Jagannath Rath Yatra is a very sacred festival of Sanatan culture, which is observed with great devotion by crores of devotees across the country. Best wishes of Sri Jagannath Rath Yatra to all. May this festival of Rath Yatra bring peace, prosperity and prosperity to everyone's life. Jai Jagannath.”

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National Vice President, Baijayant Panda extended his wishes on Rath Yatra. Taking to Twitter, he wrote, “My hearty wishes to all on the auspicious occasion of Rath Yatra. May everybody’s life be filled with peace, prosperity and happiness with the blessings of Lord Jagannath.”
