The President of India, Droupadi Murmu is likely to come on a two-day visit to her home state Odisha starting November 20. 

After attending a state-level review meeting, Union Minister Bishweswar Tudu hinted about the President's visit while briefing journalists. 

“At the meeting, the status of 87 Ekalavya model schools awarded to three PSUs was discussed. The officials of the PSUs attended the meeting. Discussions were held on the ongoing projects. Since the President will be visiting Odisha on November 20, we have decided that at least one Ekalavya Model School in Kuliana block should be ready for inauguration,” said Tudu. 

However, no communiqué informing about the President's visit has been released by the Rashtrapati Bhawan. 

Last time, the President was on a three-day visit to Odisha starting July 25. On July 26 she offered prayer at Chandi temple, visited the residence of Utkal Gourav Madhusudan Das, and offered floral tributes to his statue. She also visited the birthplace of Netaji Subash Chandra Bose and Netaji Museum. She also graced the valedictory function of the 75th-year celebrations of Orissa High Court in Cuttack and addressed the annual function of the SCB Medical College and Hospital.  She also attended the convocation of the National Law University.
