Police van meets with accident at Bangiriposhi ghati, 10 personnel injured

At least 10 police personnel sustained multiple injuries after the vehicle in which they were travelling met with an accident at Bangiriposhi Ghati on Monday. The condition of one police official is said to be critical.

All the police personnel were on their way to Baripada from Karanjia for duty when the accident occurred. As per initial reports, the police van rammed into a truck after its brakes allegedly failed.

All the injured have been rushed to Bangiriposhi hospital. Around 20 police personnel were travelling in the vehicle when the accident occured.
