Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana
Besides launching Subhadra Yojana, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also inaugurate 26 lakh PM Awas houses at Gadakana in Bhubaneswar on September 17.
According to the itinerary of the Prime Minister’s visit, after his arrival at Bhubaneswar airport at 10.50 am, he will proceed straight to Gadakana slum. He will reach the slum at 11.10 am and he will be there till 11.45 am. During his stay in the slum, he is scheduled to interact with the PM Awas beneficiaries.
The PM will leave the slum at 11.45 am and reach Janata Maidan at 11.55 where he will launch the Subhadra Yojana.
For the Prime Minister’s scheduled visit, preparations are at their last stages at Gadakana with last touches being given to the Bhagabata Tungi and houses of the beneficiaries.
In view of the Prime Minister’s visit, a thick security blanket has been thrown around the city with the routes from the airport to Janata Maidan and Gadakana being declared as no-flying zones. For security purposes, 11 DCP rank officers, 22 additional DCPs, 66 ACPs, 100 IICs, 300 senior police officers, 81 platoons of force, around 500 home guards and three units of STO and ODRAF will be deployed during the PM’s visit.
