PM Narendra Modi likely to visit Odisha on November 15: Minister Rabi Naik

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to visit Odisha to attend the 150th birth anniversary celebration of freedom fighter Birsa Munda at Rourkela on November 15, informed Panchayati Raj and Drinking Water department minister Rabi Naik on Saturday.

Speaking to the media in Bhubaneswar, Naik said, “November 15 will be celebrated as Jan Jatiya Gaurav Divas to mark the 150th birth anniversary of Birsa Munda. PM Modi is likely to join the celebrations.”

“Though PM Modi’s visit to Odisha is yet to be finalised, we are hopeful that he will attend the programme,” Naik added.

Notably, the 150th birth anniversary of freedom fighter Birsa Munda will be celebrated along with ‘Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas’ on November 15 in a grand manner.
