PM Modi to unveil ‘Vision Document’ during his Odisha visit on June 20; Law Minister shares details

The BJP-led Odisha government is set to present its ambitious ‘Vision Document’ to Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his visit to the state on June 20, informed Law Minister Prithviraj Harichandan.

In an interaction with the press, the minister described the document as a comprehensive blueprint of the state's developmental priorities. He also shared that proposals are in discussion for the document to be formally unveiled by PM Modi.

Prithviraj Harichandan also confirmed that the document has been finalised and will reflect the state government’s planned approach across sectors, including welfare, agriculture, infrastructure, and rural empowerment.

“The Vision Document has been prepared from all angles and will lay out the structure of how the government intends to function. It will be presented to the Prime Minister, who has a clear vision for the country’s overall development, and unveiled in his presence. We are discussing the details for the same,” the minister said.

Focused Blueprint for Growth and Governance

The ‘Vision Document’ is being positioned as the BJP government’s first major policy statement since coming to power in Odisha.

It will also underline Odisha’s alignment with the Centre’s national development goals, reinforcing the BJP’s ‘double engine’ government’s highlights, integrating state and central policies for fast-tracked progress.

PM Modi’s visit to the state is timed with the BJP government’s one-year anniversary in Odisha. Further, the unveiling of the Vision Document is set to be the centrepiece of his itinerary. Plans are on for the PM to unveil the document during a public programme in the presence of key state and central leaders.

The government hopes the moment will solidify public confidence in the BJP’s administrative capacity and long-term planning.
