PM Modi's 'Panch Pran' will make India a developed country by 2047: Nirmala Sitharaman in Puri

Sitharaman, who visited the Central University as part of the 'Meri Mati Mera Desh' campaign, addressed the gathering and said, “PM Modi laid out a development strategy- Panch Pran during Independence Day celebrations at Red Fort in New Delhi. During his speech, PM Modi emphasised to eliminate any trace of colonial mindset.”

"We need to free ourselves from the slavery mindset instilled in us by the British. Only then, India will become a developed country by 2047," said Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman during a programme at Central Sanskrit University in Puri on Thursday.

Sitharaman, who visited the Central University as part of the 'Meri Mati Mera Desh' campaign, addressed the gathering and said, “PM Modi laid out a development strategy- Panch Pran during Independence Day celebrations at Red Fort in New Delhi. During his speech, PM Modi emphasised to eliminate any trace of colonial mindset.”

The Finance Minister also administered 'Panch Pran pledge’ to the gathering as espoused by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said, "Make India developed and self-reliant by 2047, Remove any trace of colonial mindset, Celebrate our heritage, Strengthen unity and respect those who protect the country and Perform the duties of citizen for the development of the nation."

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, who also attended the event, said, “PM Modi has launched the 'Meri Mati Mera Desh' campaign to honour our martyred braveheart men and women. I thank all of you to take the pledge for a better India.”
