PM Narendra Modi
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be on a three-day visit to Odisha from November 29 to December 1. He along with Union Home Minister Amit Shah will be in Bhubaneswar to attend the three-day Director General of Police (DGP) conference in Bhubaneswar. The conference will be held at the convention hall of Odisha Lok Seva Bhawan.
PM Modi and Shah will reach Bhubaneswar on Friday afternoon. Elaborate security arrangements have been made for the upcoming visit of the Prime Minister to the Capital City.
Special security will be provided to PM Modi and Shah. The entire city has been put on high alert. The venues where PM Modi is set to join a programme have been declared as ‘no flying zone’. As many as 38 platoons police force, five companies of CRPF and as many companies of BSF have been deployed to ensure security measures.
Several high-level committee meetings have been held under the chairmanship of Police DG to review the security measures.

Apart from PM Modi and Shah, National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval, senior officers of the Intelligence Bureau, DGPs of all states, DG of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), chiefs of Research and Analysis Wing (RAW), National Security Guard (NSG) and Special Protection Group (SPG) will attend the conference.
As per sources, the event will focus on evaluating the performances of states in addressing law and order situations and finding out ways to deal with the emerging challenges for security and law enforcement agencies in the country.
Several Issues like internal security, Left Wing Extremism, terrorism and counter-terrorism, cybercrime and challenges posed by artificial intelligence (AI) tools will also discussed during the conference.
