“Because of the Prime Minister’s frequent visits, our letters are getting sanctioned. For example, I had written a letter seeking permission to open a drug prohibition centre. It was sanctioned immediately,” said Majhi.

“Prior to that, I had just discussed about the setting up of a campus of National Forensic Science University. It was sanctioned. Owing to the double-engine government, we are getting whatever we want,” he added.

“We are also planning to do more work in the IT and Rail sectors. The Railway Minister is ready to help us.  Be it the Sports or Culture sector, the Union Ministers are ready to extend all support to us. When Union Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya came, he told me to drop a message after reaching Delhi and he assured me to help in accomplishing whatever developmental work we want to do here,” he further said.

“While being in the pursuit of such developments, I am sure we would take Odisha to a great height,” he added.
