Prime Minister Narendra Modi will arrive in Bhubaneswar on Tuesday to inaugurate the Utkarsh Odisha, Make in Odisha Conclave 2025 starting January 28.
Ahead of PM Modi's visit to the Capital City, the Commissionerate Police has declared a ‘no flying zone’ over the entire stretch from Biju Patnaik International Airport to Janata Maidan, where the event will take place.
Besides, the Commissionerate Police has also imposed several traffic restrictions to ensure better regulation and free flow of traffic during PM Modi's visit to the State capital.
According to an advisory issued by the Commissionerate Police, no vehicle will be allowed to ply on Airport Square-Nalco Square route via Hospital Square, Raj Bhawan Square, Power House Square, 120 Battalion Square, Shashtri Nagar, Behera Sahi Square, Jaydev Vihar Square and Xavier Square from 10.25 am to 11.10 am on January 28.
Similarly, vehicles will not be allowed to ply on Nalco Square-Airport Square route via Nalco Square, Xavier Square, Jaydev Vihar, Behera Sahi Square, Shastri Nagar Square, 120 Battalion Square, Power House Square, Raj Bhawan Square, AG Square and Hospital Square from 12.20 pm to 1.05 pm on Tuesday.
The Prime Minister’s itinerary in Bhubaneswar is concise, spanning just two hours and 20 minutes. PM Modi is scheduled to arrive at Bhubaneswar Airport at 10:35 am in a special Air Force aircraft. From there, he will proceed directly to Janata Maidan by road.
The Utkarsh Odisha conclave will take place from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm. After concluding the event, Prime Minister Modi will return to the airport at 12:35 pm and is expected to depart for Delhi at 12:55 pm.
