PM Modi namedrops Odisha in Jharkhand poll campaign
Prime Minister Narendra Modi mentioned about new BJP government’s success in Odisha while addressing a Vijay Sankalp Sabha in Jharkhand’s Gumla on Sunday.
Reflecting on the success of the newly formed government in Odisha, PM Modi said that the BJP government was formed in Odisha some days back and a tribal brother has become the Chief Minister.
According to PM Modi, promises assured by BJP over paddy, farmers and tribals have been fulfilled in Odisha within a very short period of time. The Prime Minister also promised that NDA government will also fulfil all their promises in Jharkhand after November 23.
“BJP government was formed in Odisha some days back. A tribal brother of ours has become the Chief Minister in the State. Whatever announcements we had made about paddy, farmers and the tribals have been fulfilled within a very short period of time,” said PM Modi.
“All the promises will also be fulfilled in Jharkhand by NDA government after November 23. It’s my guarantee,” he added.
PM Modi intensified the poll campaigning in Jharkhand ahead of the upcoming election. Following a meeting at Gumla, the Prime Minister conducted a huge roadshow in Ranchi in the evening. Thousands of people thronged both the sides of the road to get a glimpse of PM Modi.
Notably, voting in Jharkhand will be held in two phases on November 13 and November 20 to pick a new 81-member Assembly. The results will be declared on November 23.
