BJP National Vice-President & Kendrapara MP Baijayant Panda in Bargarh
The Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) membership drive is currently underway across the country. As a part of the initiative, the party’s National Vice-President and Kendrapara MP Baijayant Panda joined the membership drive in Bargarh on Saturday.
Panda arrived at Satibhata Airstrip in the Padmapur area of the district this morning. He was accorded a grand welcome by Bargarh MP Pradeep Purohit and party leaders after his arrival.
Subsequently, Panda joined a door-to-door campaign as a part of the membership drive. According to the senior saffron party leader, the BJP will be strengthened further with the membership drive.
“I joined a door-to-door campaign in Bargarh today. People are very eager to join the BJP. Our ‘jasaswi’ Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the most popular leader across the globe. India is making huge progress under his leadership. The double-engine government under the leadership of Chief Minister Mohan Majhi is also working very fast for the development of Odisha. Hence, people are very enthusiastic to join the BJP,” said Panda.
“We are the largest political party in the world and in history. We believe in the country first, followed by the party and then the individual. Crores of our workers reach out to the people throughout the year with different initiatives to provide service to the people. Crores of people are joining as members of the BJP,” he added.
“The BJP National Vice-President and Kendrapara MP Baijayant Panda joined the party’s membership drive at Padmapur area in Bargarh district. People in large numbers joined as members of the BJP voluntarily. The way the double engine government is working in Odisha under the leadership of Mohan Majhi, people are eager to join BJP,” said Bargarh MP Pradeep Purohit.
Later in the day, Panda joined BJP’s membership drive in Sambalpur. After reaching Aanapali, the senior saffron party leader was accorded a grand welcome by the leaders and workers of the party.
Panda offered worship at a Hanuman temple in Hatapada and subsequently took part in the membership drive. He sensitised people on how to become members of the BJP through mobile phones. He also joined a door-to-door campaign and put up stickers at houses of people. MLA Jayanarayan Mishra and former MLA Nauri Nayak were present during the occasion.
