The certificates and employment letters were distributed in a special ceremony held at Centurion University. Officials of OTV Cares along with the COO of Gram Tarang programme handed over the certificates to the candidates.

Speaking on the placement, the COO of Gram Tarang, Parthasarathi Mohanty said, “We had initially thought to place them in different organisations after training them for 50 days. But looking at their skill sets and performance during the training period, we thought they have the potential to do a lot more. So we decided to employ all of them in our unit.”

“They are doing wonderfully well and I wish them all success in their lives,” Mohanty added.

“We did not know anything when we first applied under the OTV Cares initiative. But we soon learned a lot of things, and on top of that, we got jobs too. I am really happy,” said another trainee.
