Orphan girl Khusi from Sambalpur finds new home in Finland

Soon orphan girl Khusi, who is being brought up at a child house in Sambalpur, will have a new address abroad.

Khusi will fly to Finland after a couple from the foreign country adopted the little girl.

Khusi’s new mother Loura Elena has completed all the requisite legal formalities earlier. Sambalpur Collector Ananya Das handed over the baby to her foster parents at her office in the presence of Revenue Divisional Commissioner (RDC) Suresh Chandra Dalai on Thursday.

Das and Dalai discussed all details about the little baby with his foster parents. They also wished a bright future for the baby.

Among others, Additional Collector Umakanta Raj, Deputy Collector Mitali Madhusmita Dalai, and District Child Welfare Officer Suchismita Patnaik were also present on the occasion.

Khusi’s new mother Loura was on cloud nine after taking the little baby on her lap.
