Odisha Public Service Commission
The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has announced for the establishment of a new examination zone in Jeypore under Koraput district. This initiative aims to enhance accessibility for candidates sitting public examinations across the State.
Currently, OPSC operates examination zones in Balasore, Berhampur, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, and Sambalpur. The addition of Jeypore expands the Commission’s reach to six zones.
The decision follows a meeting on January 1 where the Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi suggested the commission to create an examination centre in Jeypore. In response, the OPSC formalised this plan, confirming the new zone’s establishment via an official notification.
