The Vigilance sleuths on Tuesday conducted raids on the properties of a Junior Engineer (JE) of the Water Resources Department, CADA division in Malkangiri district on charges of amassing assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.

Simultaneous searches were conducted on the properties linked to Sanjay Kumar Mohanty by the Vigilance officials at seven places in Khordha (Bhubaneswar), Balasore and Malkangiri districts. An additional SP, three DSPs, eight inspectors, eight ASIs and other staff were part of the raid.
