Odisha Vigilance officials arrested Rama Chandra Satpathy, Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE) of Athmallik Block in Angul district, on Thursday for allegedly amassing assets disproportionate to his known income, stated a notice from the agency.

The arrest followed raids at eight locations linked to Satpathy, unearthing properties worth crores, including high-value plots, gold, cash, and bank deposits.
