"Till my brother’s body is not found, I will not leave Odisha." Such words speak volumes about the agony of a man from Assam who is now moving from place to place to get information about his younger brother, who is missing in the Odisha train tragedy.

Though 11 days have now passed since the tragic train mishap, Amiruddin along with his relatives are now searching for the whereabouts of his younger brother Musa Sheikh.

Amiruddin’s younger brother Musa was working as a mason in Bengaluru. Musa was returning home in Assam and was scheduled to deboard at Howrah. However, the train he was travelling met with an accident on June 2 at Bahanaga in Balasore district. So far, the family is unaware of whether Musa is dead or alive.

The DNA samples of Musa’s elder brother have been collected at AIIMS Bhubaneswar.

“We had left home on June 3 after getting information about the train accident and reached Odisha on June 4. I have travelled to Cuttack, Soro, Balasore, Bhadrak, AIIMS Bhubaneswar and even Midnapore. But so far I have not got any information about my brother,” said Amiruddin.

According to Amiruddin, he has all the documents including Aadhaar ID card of his brother. “DNA report has not come. I was asked to wait for two days, but so far I have not received any information,” he added.
