Balasore train accident: Railway signal JE Amir Khan's rented house sealed by CBI

In a major development pertaining to the probe into the train tragedy in Odisha's Balasore, the rented house of a railway signal JE working under the Soro section was sealed by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Monday.

The JE has been identified as Amir Khan. It is learned that the signal JE along with his family is reportedly absent from the rented place after the tragic accident at Bahanaga that resulted in the deaths of 292 passengers so far.

However, the CBI had questioned him during the course of their investigation at an undisclosed location.

The CBI team had left Balasore on June 16 after investigating and suddenly returned on Monday to seal the house of the signal JE.

Later, the CBI team arrived at Bahanaga Station Master's house in Tentei Chhak under Soro Block.
